Sal at Power Surge Performance, in association with... Trixter's Racing

Brings you... "FORCE OF NATURE" !!!

"FORCE OF NATURE" From Eaton to ProCharger to turbocharger. It's here.

USING this T-76 GTSH, This truck will re-write the TOP TRUCK E.T. INDEX!

Funny, that turbocharger looks much smaller than the F-1R...  We already dyno'd this beast and made 700/700 S.A.E.... (Without Nitrous Oxide) with the ProCharger F-1R. This Lightning is now TURBOCHARGED! BEFORE the Nitrous Oxide is activated, we expect 100 gain over the ProCharger at the wheels.

You guessed it, Sal at Power Surge Performance is doing all of the fabrication of the 4" intercooler piping... The system is based on the P.T.K. kit we use (Hot parts) seen here. We expect that posted 10.48 will soon drop to low 9s!

This system most easily adapts to the Gen II Lightning when using a single plane intake.

After the ProCharger swap, we hit 700/700. With the T-76, we expect to make AT LEAST another 100/100 more at the wheels, at the same boost level. Spec'd for 30 PSI, we have pushed his engine to 18-22 PSI with the ProCharger F-1R, thus far. The turbocharger will make significantly more power at a lower boost level due to lower parasitic loss! The F-1R actually required 150 HP to spin!

All detailed images of the ProCharger F-1R can be found here...

Sal on his way to another LOW 10 second pass!

The ProCharger 3-core RACE intercooler... Look at the size and the 4" tubing!!! The ProCharger and the turbocharger system both use this intercooler and have been converted to a BLOW THROUGH MAF setup.

The finished ProCharger installation, save the belt.

Here is the T-76 GTSH (H for HIGH OUTPUT). That's right! A T-76 GTSH!  Don't let the small size of this unit fool you... It appears very SMALL in comparison to the F-1, but is EASILY capable of the same power levels with about a 1/3 of the parasitic losses associated with a belt drive!

The heart of the system... A Precision T-76 GTSH! This is the largest compressor available for our system (T-4 flange).

Now for the images of the turbocharger system... It is up and running, and dyno tuning is in progress. On this project, we used the Eaton case as a plenum, however all other conversions will get a single plane intake. Members have a choice of intakes or Sal has these adapters to use in the case of a failed Eaton or customer preference.

Initial dyno testing reveled this systems capability. Tuning is still underway, and no Nitrous Oxide has been used yet.

Images of the graphs will come soon.

700/820 at the wheels BOOST ONLY!
